Yesterday I saw the movie it was soo funny. Me: see's trailer and clicks Also me seeing tom holland is in the movie: wait a minute.

Maybe it was the recliner chairs in the theater, but I struggled to keep my eyes open during the first half of the movie. Nobody was laughing in a near-full theater.
But. by the 2nd half, the main story got defined, the jokes were better and the action made sense. Plus, there were some good laughs (though almost all from little children.
I like the actors involved and the idea for the movie, but I think this is a little too simple-minded for adults; it's definitely a kids movie.

Soooooo wheres Karen. IT WORKED! THE CAN IS HUGE AND THE VAN IS HUGE AND YOU'RE- oh no. We think this movie stands out for: A lot or a little? The parents' guide to what's in this movie. Viewers will learn a lot about pigeon anatomy and physiology (like the fact that the birds have 360-degree vision and have a single orifice, called the cloaca, for doing "number one and number two"). Promotes nonviolent (or at least nonlethal) means of negotiating and stopping criminals. Also focuses on need for teamwork and accepting that others' skills and talents can help, not hurt, you. Walter and Lance's growing partnership shows that co-workers and friends don't need to be alike to get along or work well together. Positive Role Models & Representations Lance is brash, arrogant, quick to get rid of opponents, but learns to be more cautious, think of others, try to stop the villain from hurting anyone. Walter is kind, courageous, concerned with helping. Lots of action sequences and weapons-based violence between Lance and his targets. A frightening villain plans to kill all agents. People are shot at, captured, knocked unconscious; some life-or-death scenes in which it looks like all is (almost) lost. Physical comedy. A parent dies (off-screen, but the emotional impact is felt). Lots of flirting from Walter's pet pigeon, Lovey, to Lance (in pigeon form). She keeps fluffing up her feathers and sidling up to him; he responds by pushing her away or saying "Not now, girl. " Nonsexual nudity: Kimura's naked backside is visible and shown for a while when he emerges from the bath. Lance looks down into his pants as he starts shrinking into a bird and shrieks. "Weird" and "weirdo" are often used to insult Walter. Nothing on-screen, but a few tie-ins off-screen, including a video game. Drinking, Drugs & Smoking Gangsters shown drinking. SPIES IN DISGUISE is an animated spy thriller about two very different men. Suave master spy Lance Sterling (voiced by Will Smith) is known for not mussing his tuxedo while taking down international criminals, while awkward Walter Beckett ( Tom Holland) is a young, brilliant inventor who creates spy gear. When a mysterious terrorist is able to use tech to disguise himself as Agent Sterling while committing violent crimes, Lance turns to Walter for help and unexpectedly drinks a newly perfected serum that looks like water. But the invisibility concoction doesn't make Sterling disappear: Instead, it turns him into a pigeon. While in bird form, Lance must team up with Walter as his new/unlikely partner in order to take down the face-stealing mastermind. Is it any good? Smith and Holland have great buddy-comedy chemistry and give this weird-in-a-good-way animated adventure a charming, crowd-pleasing vibe. Blue Sky Animation has an impressive track record with animal-focused comedies (four Ice Age films and two Rio movies), and Spies in Disguise continues the studio's streak with the wacky twist of Smith's smooth-talking agent turning into a talking blue pigeon (complete with a tiny tuxedo bow-tie tattoo). Some of the humor may go over very young viewers' heads, but tweens will appreciate the pigeon anatomy jokes, as well as the dark, drone-obsessed adversary ( Ben Mendelsohn, who's quite comfortable playing villains and can sound quite chilling). Although the two leads work mostly as a duo, the talented supporting cast includes Reba McEntire as Sterling's unit director, Rashida Jones as an internal affairs investigator (who believes Sterling has turned traitor), and Karen Gillan and DJ Khaled as her well-intentioned but misguided team. The Mark Ronson-produced soundtrack prominently features Rob Base's "It Takes Two" (for the Gen X parents), "Rocket Fuel" by DJ Shadow and De La Soul, "Fly" by Lucky Daye, and other high-energy tracks. But what really elevates this story is Walter's insistence on nonviolence (or at least nonlethal violence), creating gadgets and tech that focus on distracting and humanizing enemies with glitter-and-kitten bombs and other adorable innovations. The movie's sweet, heartwarming message of peace and understanding is one everyone could use. Talk to your kids about... Families can talk about the positive messages in Spies in Disguise. What does Lance learn about peaceful negotiation thanks to Walter? Why is it important not to be casually OK with violence, even if it's for government reasons? Which characters do you consider role models in the movie? What are their character strengths? What are your favorite buddy movies? Why do you think the genre works, particularly in action/adventure? What are some of your favorite examples? Why are the buddies usually "odd couples" with very different personalities, strengths, and styles? Do you think there's potential for a sequel to this movie? If so, what would you like to see more of in the story? Character Strengths Our editors recommend Terrific, action-packed superhero sequel was worth the wait. Just the right combination of fantasy and comedy. Super-dog adventure is fun, age-appropriate for kids. This animated WWII story may not engage all kids. Sweet story about compassion, nonviolence has a few scares. Never buy a pet as a gift, never. It is a responsibility not an object

So will SMITH lay eggs😂😂😂😂😂😂. Toy Story 1: Woody is jealous of Buzz becoming Andy's new favorite toy. Toy Story 4: Woody risks his life to save Forky because he's Bonnie's new favorite toy. If THAT'S not major character development, then I don't know WHAT is.

A movie adaptation of one of the most beloved musicals of the 20th century, with a talented cast and input from the creator himself: The epic finale to a powerful, beloved space opera saga at least three decades in the making: Will Smith getting turned into a pigeon: so you’re telling me that these guys are playing these guys? alright, im sold. take my money When Will Smith is all of us and tells the truth to Tom ( x) “Peter Benjamin Parker…I’m here with a school trip” nervous baby 🥺 tom being surprised that he guessed correctly what happens in a vid is the best thing ive seen all day,, “a spider comes out of her false lash” *suprised pikachu face* Just look at the casual way he sits on his lap, bye 👌🏾👀 Will Smith as Lance Sterling and Tom Holland as Walter in Spies in Disguise Who knew pigeon Will Smith could be this good XD I loved the movie it was a blast and some parts were sooo cute, go watch it if you have the chance! Also also late Merry Christmas! Love u <33 Will Smith saying, “Mr. Holland”, and Jaden freaking out about Tom. this is so pure! I just pirated watched Spies in Disguise and I felt a need to make a Venn Diagram of Walter Varian and Dipper SPIES IN DISGUISE (2019) dir. Troy QUANE & Nick BRUNO seriously this could have gotten anywhere but MEMES.

I have cry at finding Nemo and finding dory I have cry at the ending of toy story 3&4 and monsters inc I almost cry over a robot in wall-e I felt sad on the ending of the good dinosaur Up made me cry from the married life scene and the stuff we do scene Inside out give me mix of sadness and joy Cars 1&3 have deep moments that made me emotional But I aint ready for a heartbreaking moment of this movie.

Even the voice of the Fresh Prince is charming enough to make a good movie great. Will is the man as a man turned into a bird.
Tom Holland was pretty amazing too. For those of you who love his run as Spider-Man, there is enough of that inside this character to have you loving it.
Also shout out to Ben Mendelssohn as the villain robot hand. Perfect for a 007 inspired feature. Also, very cool hearing DJ Khalid's voice coming out of a character called sound.
Then the most important part, the animation itself which was quite amazing. They did some thangs that really captured my eye and fully helped pushed a great story.
Overall, It's fantastic.

The pigeon sounds like Oscar from SharkTale. Are going to pay our lunches. *later on* I eat dirt. I don't usually go watch animated movies - very rarely, but in light of the lack of new releases (at least interesting enough for me. I decided to tag a long with the kids and watch this one. The first surprise was to see how busy the room was - on Christmas day - that was really a surprise, secondly although a very simple story, the fun is there and I kept on listening to the little ones sending some nice laughters and grown ups as well. Is definitely one with a message that spams generations but, will resonate a lot with the kids of this generation. Is fun, has a message, it's action packed and you know what, with a little more investment this one has the potential to have a part 2...

Okay, let me think Peter Parker: smart, awkward boy who is a bit clumsy, isn't this guy exactly the same? 😂 Also Tom Holland is just perfect for this character, AGAIN. Im literally just gonna watch this movie for Tom Holland. Will Smith and Tom Holland are an action odd couple in this animated comedy. Credit... 20th Century Fox Spies in Disguise Directed by Nick Bruno, Troy Quane Animation, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Family, Sci-Fi PG 1h 41m Will Smith voices an “is there anything he can’t do? ” secret agent whose massive skills are dwarfed by his humongous ego in “Spies in Disguise, ” a colorful but not very eye-opening animated offering from Blue Sky, the studio that brought us the “Ice Age” diversions. The character is an amiable-to-the-point-of-toothless sendup of Smith’s celebrity persona and many of the roles he’s played. His super spy Lance Sterling is framed for treason by a sneering villain with a robotic claw hand. When the agency pursues Lance, he goes on the lam and seeks help from a colleague. The gizmo inventor Walter Beckett (voiced by Tom Holland), a young man of floppy hair and poignant back story, contrives the perfect (or so Walter believes) cover for Lance. He turns him into a pigeon. There’s much lip-smacking (not the good kind) humor concerning the waste elimination functions of the bird (the most memorable banter has Walter explaining to Lance what a cloaca is) and the weird proclivities of the real birds who attach themselves to Lance. Soon enough this stuff gives way, partially at least, to homilies on teamwork and friendship. The lessons are so treacly, and their delivery method so single-minded, that the Valley Girl phrase “gag me with a spoon” springs to mind. But you have to give the movie credit for sticking to its lack of guns. Walter can’t stand the prospect of wounding even the worst of baddies, so his arsenal consists of weapons of charming distraction. The movie’s finale, with its panoply of glitter bombs and oversize “awww”-inspiring flying cat GIFs, well-timed by the directors Troy Quane and Nick Bruno, works up some undeniable charm. Spies in Disguise Rated PG, probably for the robotic-claw-hand villain, who’s a little intense. Running time: 1 hour 41 minutes.

“THATS HOT” Who else noticed. With the rendering and designs of each Addams character, Gorillaz would fit right in. Sees Thumbnail for Trailer: 😂😂😂😂. I already seen this but i just cant stop watching this cause Angelina Jolie she is just so Gorgeous and i love her accent and voice. Andy: Comes back to visit toys Andy: So Bonnie where's woody? Bonnie: I lost him. Andy.

This movie is good. Will Smith delivers, and Tom Holland is good also. The animation is superb, The comedy is hilarious, and if you have children around the 5-10 age this is a great movie for them.
